For those interested in applying for a scholarship but are unable to volunteer at this time and/or have not met the criteria of being a currently enrolled student due to unusual or extenuating circumstances, please submit your application form online below. Please note that you may be asked to provide KDA with documents supporting any claims made on your application.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF QUALIFYING EVENTS, A FAMILY IS ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE KDA’S EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES SCHOLARSHIP FOR ONE SCHOOL YEAR ONLY. UPON COMPLETION OF THE SCHOOL YEAR, FAMILIES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY ANNUALLY FOR KDA’S VOLUNTEER SCHOLARSHIP.
FOR THOSE NOT CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A KDA CLASS: All new students must participate in a trial period of two weeks in order to be placed into KDA's program and determine eligibility for an Extenuating Circumstance Scholarship. During this time, students will be assessed on their technique and placement, as well as their attitude, work ethic, and commitment to class.
