Designed for adults seeking a deeper level of engagement, KDT Associate Company provides the opportunity to train, rehearse, and perform repertoire in a professional and collaborative environment.

AUDITION INFORMATION

Admission is by audition only. Students must be a minimum of 18 years old and currently in a ballet training program in order to be considered. Please email info@kailuadanceacademy.com to schedule an audition.

Students regularly attending KDA’s Adult Dance Program do not need to audition, and may sign up when registering for classes.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE 2026-2027 Season

Tuesday 8:00-9:00

Thursday 7:30-8:30

Dancers must be present at every scheduled rehearsal, and are allowed no more than three absences per semester. Dancers who exceed three absences may be dismissed from the program or removed from choreography.

  • As an integral part of our ballet community, adult students have the opportunity to deepen their appreciation for the art form, connect with fellow dancers, and perform in professionally produced productions and showcase performances. These performance opportunities allow students to experience the excitement and discipline of the stage while sharing their passion for ballet with the community.

    KDT ASSOCIATE COMPANY is the perfect opportunity for dancers seeking to expand their skills, develop their performance quality, and receive additional features in KDA performances.

  • Rehearsals are scheduled to take place during the following days and times.

    TUESDAY 8:00-9:00PM (rehearsal for OF WHICH WE ARE MADE until September 15, then rehearsal for SNOW QUEEN)

    THURSDAY 7:30-8:30 (rehearsal for SNOW QUEEN)

    DRESS REHEARSALS:

    Saturday, September 19 (Of Which We Are Made)

    Saturday, December 5 (Snow Queen)

  • There is a $125 Performance Fee for all dancers for each performance. This helps cover the costs of costume rental, rehearsal time, and other associated theater expenses.

  • KDA Associates are expected to honor their commitment to scheduled rehearsal times. Dancers with excessive absences may be dismissed from the program or removed from the choreography.
