INJURY PREVENTION: PARENT SESSION

Come to Ms Carolyn’s Injury Prevention: PARENT SESSION to learn about the science of movement, injury prevention, and what we as KDA parents can do to help support our young dancers!
INTRO TO FLAMENCO (AGE 8+, all levels)

TEACHER: Ana Paula Facchinato has more than 15 years of experience teaching ballet, tap and flamenco for all ages. She taught at Ballet Marcia Lago in Brazil, and was also part of a professional Tap Dance Company called Tuguruguda, lead by the international renowned Luyzz Baldijão.
CONTEMPORARY WORKSHOP (Ballet IV and above)
DATE: Monday 5:30-7:30pm Feb 9, 16, 23 & March 2
PRICE: $45/class, $140 full program (non-KDA student)
TEACHER: Catherine Raupp holds a BFA in Dance from the University of Michigan. She is now the Artistic Director of Tandem Dance, a professional contemporary dance company based in Oregon. Her forte is contemporary dance, and she has strong training in ballet, pointe, jazz, hip hop, and tap.
GRAHAM TECHNIQUE MASTER CLASS (Ballet IV and above)
DATE: Monday, March 23, 5:30-7:00pm
PRICE: $45 (non-KDA student)
TEACHER: William Charles Crowley is the Artistic Director of Still Point Productions in Miami, FL. He holds an MFA in Dance from the University of Michigan, and has over 20 years experience performing as a professional dancer. He was a scholarship students at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance in New York City, and has been an International Guest Artist for 13 years, teaching across the Caribbean, United States, and Europe.
