Royal Ballet Camp

Come explore ballet’s rich and royal history this summer at KDA with Ballet Mistress Ms Jenny Riley-Doyle!

Campers will learn about King Louis XIV, create a variety of crafts, practice steps taught at the Royal Court, and even learn some French! We finish the week with High Tea on Saturday while parents can enjoy a night out!

KDA SUMMER INTENSIVE

 June 10 - 21: KDA SUMMER INTENSIVE (completed Ballet II+)

Junior Level 8:00am-12:30pm | Inter & Senior Level 9:00am-4:00pm

A dance experience like no other! Open to those who have completed Ballet II (or equivalent) and above, KDA’s Summer Intensive rivals any mainland pre-professional program for its quality, intensity, and connection to major dance schools and training programs. Dancers learn repertoire for Kailua Dance Theatre’s performance of VIVALDI’S SEASONS, held in September at Paliku Theatre.

June 17 - July 17: KEIKI BALLET @LE JARDIN ACADEMY (Gr K-2)

Monday/Wednesday @ Le Jardin Academy 3:15-4:15 | Tuition: $220

Discover the joy of dance in Kailua Dance Academy's pre-ballet class! The foundations of classical ballet are explored through music and movement with KDA's signature emphasis on education and whole-child development. Open to beginning dancers in Grade K-2.

Tuesday 3:30-4:15 @ Kailua Dance Academy | Tuition: $25/single class, $88/full program

The perfect opportunity to introduce young dancers to the joy of movement and music! Drop in for a single class, or sign up for the whole series— with no long-term commitments or obligations, all are welcome to come try us out and see what makes KDA’s Keiki Ballet Program so unique!
